Junior Interior Designer

A Junior Interior Designer supports senior designers in executing design projects. They work on tasks such as space planning, drafting layouts, and preparing mood boards. Junior Interior Designers also liaise with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to obtain materials and oversee work progress.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting senior designers in executing design projects
• Preparing layout drafts and presentation materials
• Coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and contractors
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and schedules
• Researching materials and products sourcing
• Assisting in the supervision of work progress
• Attending site visits and client meetings as required

Job Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or similar
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator or other design programs
• Knowledge of design concepts and principles
• Creative talent, imagination and eye for design
• Communication and presentation skills
• Project management skills
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
